Parents simply don’t understand the problems teenagers go through.
The statement, Parents simply don’t understand the problems teenagers go through, in my opinion, is true. I think this because parents, for the most part, don’t fully understand the thing we go through. I think this because when they were growing up, things were a lot different. From the problems to the situations we go through and what they went through. One thing is the way people treat each other. I am not saying there we not bullies back then, but they are different. Today kids are more judgemental. Another thing is the way they make fun of people. Today, kids can be more brutal and often physical. The girls can be really really brutal. They pick on people for their cloths and say awful things. As guys are more physical and fight a lot. They are more likely to hurt people physically then mentally and call people names.
Another thing is being pushed to do things. Like before, I am not saying there were no drugs back then, but there are more today. Something else that is different is that people are more judgemental. Kids think you are lame or something if you don't do drugs and mess up your life. They could exclude you and bully you. Some parents just don’t understand that.
That is why I believe in the statement.
